Lexington Place provides a level of nursing services that you might expect to find only in a hospital. You can rest easy knowing that we provide this service 24 hours a day 7 days a week.
Our staff at Lexington Place is trained to plan care to meet basic needs of residents as they adapt to neurological, sensory, and musculoskeletal illnesses & accidents.
Everyone at Lexington Place recognizes that all of our residents require unique needs and have unique goals. We have trained personnel to make sure the psychological needs of our residents are met.
Proper care of a wound whether from and accident or surgery is an important task that the professionals at Lexington Place are well qualified to handle. Only the highest quality wound care materials and medications are used in this important part of staff duties.
The staff at Lexington Place is trained to give the supportive care to people in the final phase of a terminal illness. The focus is on comfort and quality of life rather than cure. Our goal is to enable a resident to be comfortable and free of pain so that each day is lived as fully as possible.
Providing support for the resident’s emotional, social and spiritual need as well as medical needs is all part of Hospice care at Lexington Place.
Monitoring blood sugar and proper diet is critical to manage diabetes. Our professionals are well versed in the latest techniques and monitoring devices and our kitchen staff assure proper diet for residents with either Type I or Type II diabetes.
Safety for our residents diagnosed with Alzheimer's or related condition is top priority at Lexington Place. Our secured Unit provides families with peace of mind.
Lexington Place give caregivers an opportunity to take a much-need break from the daily care provided to a loved one at home by providing respite care for a day, a week or whatever time is needed for the caregiver(s) to “recharge” and refresh.
Physician visits to Lexington Place are normal in the course of any day at Lexington Place Nursing and Rehab.
The goal of Physical Therapy is to move the patient toward greater independence and mobility; either unassisted or with assisted devices. Our Licensed Physical Therapist focuses on improvement, coordination, balance, strength, and endurance.
Lexington Place Nursing and Rehab is a Skilled Nursing Facility licensed by the Texas Department of Aging and Disability Services. This means that if your loved one requires medical or nursing care, our staff is more than qualified to not only help with daily tasks of dressing, bathing, or transferring but qualified to provide Skilled Nursing Services.
The goal of Occupational Therapy is to assess personal self-care and daily living skills and to provide modified techniques and/or adaptive devices, as necessary to assist patients in adapting their needs to the skills needed in activities of daily living.
The goal of Speech Therapy is to assess and provide treatment to individuals with disorders of speech, language, swallowing, communications and/or feeding programs to help the patient recover lost skills or develop new ones.

Lexington Place employes a full-time social worker with a bachelor’s degree in social work. The goal of social services is to provide medically related social services to attain or maintain the highest practicable resident physical, mental and psychosocial well-being.
